Hot off the presses!  Possibly disappointing news (for some) coming out of Warner Bros. today.  It has been reported that Zack Snyder’s Superman: Man of Steel has had it’s release date pushed back to June 14, 2013.  Does this hint at possible problems with production or is Warner Bros trying to get more bang for the buck?  This could be a move similar to one that Paramount did with the Star Trek reboot in 2009.  With a original release date of December 2012, it seems that it would have some serious competition already.  Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit is being release that same month along with The Lone Ranger and Life of Pi.  The move worked for Paramount, let hope it works out for WB as well.
